Frozen Storage: -18°C / -25°C

At -40 ° C, shocked food should be stored in deepfreeze tanks after the freezing process. Ice cream, frozen fruits, vegetables, meat, poultry, fish products and frozen bakery products are maintained at these working temperatures. Note that the cooling load should be well calculated so that there is no dissolution in the frozen products.

Quick-Freezing: -35°C / -40°C

It is the process of reducing the core temperature of foods to be kept for a long time to -18 ° C. After the Core temperature of the product reaches -18 ° C, it must be shipped to the Frozen Storage tank. -40 ° C Shock rooms should not be used for storage purposes. Attention should be paid in these rooms, cooling device selection. When selecting the cooling device, the type, quantity, inlet temperature, room size and target shock time of the product should be considered. Shock life should be kept short so that the shelf life of the food will be longer.

How Calculation of Practical Cold Storage Room Cooling Load?

The Cold Room is calculated by calculating the volume of the chamber (m3) by multiplying the dimensions x length x height. How Should the Cold Storage Project be?

A good and convenient Cold Storage is possible with a well-designed project. The first step in the cold storage projects is the type of the product and the amount of storage. 1. COLD STORAGE ROOM COOLER All parts of the cooling equipment are in a protective case made of electrostatic paint coated galvanized steel sheets. They can be used under rainy conditions without extra precautions. Electrical connections are found on the exterior unit, and easily accessible with a door that is durable against rain and dust. The compressor used in units is hermetic type. Compressor brand is Tecumseh, and made in France. Compressor input voltage is 400 V / 50 Hz. Condensing exchanger is made of copper tubes and aluminum fins. Condensing unit is designed against ecvatoral temperatures. Condensing unit pressure control is handled by changing the fan speed. Evaporator exchanger is made of copper tubes and aluminum fins. Evaporator capacity is calculated over the needs of the room to prevent any humidity loss. Evaporator fans are microcontroller driven. Evaporator exchanger is equipped with electrical heaters to prevent icing. Defrost heaters are microcontroller driven. Evaporating unit has condensed water collection tray, and designed to deliver the collected water properly. Condensed water is installed with a simple pipe fitting for servicing needs, and water is delivered out of the room with PVC pipes. In the electric box, all automatic fuses are Merlin Gerin, contactors and thermic relays are Telemecanique brands. All cables in the fuse box are carried with cable canals. Connector units are fixable on the automat rails. All cable inlets and outlets from the electric box are done with cable fittings. Inside of the electrical box door, power and control schematics are printed on durable aluminum stickers. Room temperature control is done with Carel microprocessor unit. Interior units are fixed on the ceiling panels. Exterior units are placed at least 50 cm high from the floor on steel construction. Steel construction is first painted by anti-corrosive paint and also coated with industrial paint. 2. COLD ROOM PANELS Panel surfaces are made of 0.50 mm thick galvanized steel sheets coated with polyester paint. Sheets are given form to increase endurance. Sheets are coated with at least 200 gr/m² galvanization. Exterior face of the sheets is coated with 50 micron undercoat and 20 micron epoxy polyester paint over it (RAL 9002). Interior face of the sheets is coated with 8 micron undercoat paint. Polyurethane density is 42 kg/m³. Panels are equipped with eccentric locks with lock and pull mechanism. Corners of the room are fitted with special corner panels with locking mechanism. Ceiling and wall union corners are covered with brackets made of panel steel sheets. All of our panels are antibacterial material. Polyurethane used in the panels has B3 type fire class and in consistency with DIN 4102 norm. Polyurethane’s thermal conductivity value is 0.020 W/mK. 3. FLOOR PANELS Exterior is coated with 2 mm thick FRP with embossed finish. Exterior face is reinforced with 10 mm of water durable plywood. Exterior face is fixed against the reinforcement with special PU based glue. Bottom face is made of 0.50 mm thick galvanized steel sheet. Polyurethane density is 42 kg/m³. Panels are equipped with eccentric locks with lock and pull mechanism. Because of the reinforced top face, and with special made reinforcers that are put in the panel while injecting PU, they can carry up to 3.500 kg/m² of static loads. 4. HINGED TYPE COLD ROOM DOORS Interior face is made of 0.50 mm thick galvanized steel sheets coated with polyester paint. Exterior face is made of 0.50 mm thick galvanized steel sheets coated with polyester paint. Polyurethane density is 42 kg/m³. Lateral sides of the door wing are made of aluminum profile to make it more durable. Has special hinge system which raises the wing while opening. Sheets are coated with at least 200 gr/m² galvanization. Exterior face of the sheets is coated with 50 micron undercoat and 20 micron epoxy polyester paint over it (RAL 9002). Interior face of the sheets is coated with 8 micron undercoat paint. For 10°C and below, it has a heating system to prevent icing.
